Flirting And Dating | Making The Most Of What You’ve Got

Flirting and dating tips

OK, so you’re no George Clooney. But then again neither is anyone else. Except George Clooney, obviously. But even he’s no Tom Cruise. The fact is, everyone’s different and – until they invent a combination personality and face transplant – we’re all stuck with those differences for life. But that doesn’t mean it’s not possible to build on what nature has given you to make yourself more attractive to potential partners. In fact there’s plenty of things you can do to make the most of what you’ve got.

The first and most important tip is to be yourself. It sounds like a cliché but it’s true: you can’t keep up a fake personality forever and you risk putting off people who might be attracted to the real you. Having the confidence to be yourself is not only an extremely attractive quality but it’s also far easier than trying to pretend to be someone or something you’re not.

Before spending millions of pounds on cosmetics and padded underwear make sure you’ve sorted the basics: it’s impossible to overstate the importance of hygiene when you’re playing the mating game. This doesn’t just mean washing behind your ears (although that’s a good start) but also using deodorant, making sure your hair’s not greasy, your fingernails are dirt-free and – most important of all – that your bits are so clean you could eat ice cream off them. This is particularly important if it’s possible that someone might end up eating ice cream off them.

Speaking of bits; there’s not really much you can do to improve what you’ve got down below but men who are worried about the size of their manhood will be pleased to know that there are several ways to make it go a bit further. Trimming the pubic hair around the base of the penis makes it look longer while having sex from behind allows for deeper penetration. But whatever you do, don’t be fooled by those adverts for creams and gadgets which promise to make your penis bigger – the only increase you’re likely to notice is in your credit card bill.

If you’re a bit on the chubby side then losing a few pounds will not only you’re your appearance but will also do wonders for your self-confidence. However, weight loss should only be achieved through a healthy, balanced diet, rather than crash dieting which can affect your levels of fitness and can damage your confidence. Far more important than weight is fitness – a stick-thin person who is hideously unfit is much less attractive than someone with a shapely figure who keeps themselves in shape. Cut out fatty foods and take regular exercise – experts recommend half an hour of moderately strenuous exercise a day – and you’ll soon have the body you’ve always wanted. Seems like a lot? It’s not: brisk walking, swimming, dancing and even sex all count as moderately strenuous.

So, you’re clean, confident and you’ve exercised yourself a body that would make a supermodel jealous – now all that’s left to sort out is your wardrobe. Clothes are one of the trickiest things to get right – the wrong look can undo all of the hard work you’ve put into getting everything else right – but the right one will show off your best features while drawing attention away from the bits you’re not so proud of. To find out what suits you and what doesn’t you don’t have to rely on your own judgement: instead ask your friends to pick outfits from your wardrobe that they think will suit you. Try them on and ask for honest opinions – after all you’re trying to make yourself look good in the eyes of other people, not your own.

And that’s it. Put on your shoes, stand up straight, take a final swig of mouthwash and go out and get your ideal partner. Good luck!
